We’ve never wanted Wild Fibres clothing to belong to just one part of your life.
Why should the leggings you love for yoga only be worn to yoga? Why can't the shorts you wear for an active day become part of an amazing festival look? And why does activewear have to look like activewear?
Some of our favourite pieces are designed to cross those boundaries.
They can be yoga clothing, everyday wear, activewear and festival fashion — depending on how you wear them.
Designing for Real Life
When we design a new piece, I’m often thinking about all the places it could go.
A pair of leggings might start with the idea of movement. They need to stretch, bend and feel comfortable during yoga or an active day.
But then we add a print, a particular shade or an unusual detail, and suddenly they become something completely different.
Put them with boots and a flowing top and they can become part of a festival look.
Wear them with a simple tee and they're easy everyday clothing.
The garment hasn't changed.
The way you wear it has.
That's something I love about fashion.

When Activewear Doesn't Have to Look Like Activewear
Traditional activewear often has a very recognisable look.
Bright technical fabrics. Sporty panels. Minimal designs. Clothing that tells you exactly what it's supposed to be used for.
There's nothing wrong with that.
But we wanted to create something different.
Wild Fibres pieces can have the comfort and movement you want from activewear, while still carrying the personality of our prints, colours and silhouettes.
A classic short can become a festival piece simply because of the print.
A simple top can work for yoga but look completely different when paired with a flowing bottom.
Leggings can be practical for movement while still feeling expressive enough to wear out.
We don't want practicality to mean sacrificing personality.
Choosing Prints and Colours With More Than One Life
Print and colour play a huge part in this.
Some designs are bold and unmistakably made for festival wear — the kind of piece that catches your eye from across a festival field.
Others have deeper, earthy or more understated shades that can easily slip into an everyday wardrobe.
And then there are the designs that can go either way.
A beautiful print might feel completely at home at a festival, but paired with a simple top or jacket, it suddenly becomes something you could wear around town.
We also think carefully about which colours work with which prints.
A plain-coloured piece can be the perfect partner for a bold print, giving it room to stand out. At the same time, a statement printed top can completely transform a simple pair of pants or shorts.
Sometimes it's that combination that creates the whole look.

And Then There's the Fabric
The fabric matters just as much as the design.
When you're wearing something for hours — stretching, walking, dancing, travelling or simply getting on with your day — we care about how it feels against your skin.
That's one of the reasons we've always been drawn to natural fibres and fabrics that feel soft, comfortable and good to wear.
For us, it's about creating a balance between comfort, movement, individuality and the materials we choose.
We don't want you to have to choose between feeling good and looking good.
Clothes That Move Between Worlds
Ultimately, this is what we're trying to create at Wild Fibres — clothing that doesn't tell you exactly where it belongs.
A pair of flares, for example, can feel completely different depending on what you wear with them. A printed pair with a simple fitted top can feel bold and playful. The same flares with a loose, flowing top can suddenly have a completely different, more bohemian feel.
And it works the other way too.
A plain-coloured bottom can be the perfect foundation for a bold printed top. Sometimes keeping one piece simple allows the print, colour or shape of the other piece to really stand out.
We think about these combinations when we're designing our collections — the shapes, the prints, the colours and the way they can be mixed together.
A pair of flares can take you from everyday wear to a festival simply by changing the top and shoes. A simple short can work for a morning walk and then become part of a festival look with the right combination. A top can work for yoga one day and become something completely different when paired with a flowing bottom.
The possibilities aren't just in the individual pieces — they're in what happens when you put them together.
That's what we love about creating clothing that moves between worlds.
Yoga in the morning.
Coffee afterwards.
The city in the afternoon.
A festival at night.
Same clothes. Different combinations. Completely different look.
